We ask that all clients book an initial consultation before booking a follow-up appointment with Alexa. Initial consultations are important because Alexa spends more time assessing client needs with a thorough overview of the client's history, symptoms, diagnosis', treatments, and goals before moving on to discussing protocols

Upon booking your Initial Consultation, you will be asked to complete a comprehensive intake form. This will give me an understanding of your history, current state of health, symptoms, what your biggest challenges are, and more, which will save us a lot of time During your Initial Consultation appointment, I will typically ask you some more questions to get an even more complete picture of your health concerns, use my wisdom, training, and intuition to tune in, and then explain exactly what's going on that's affecting your health. Next we will discuss a plan for moving forward. Keep in mind that the Initial Consultation is mostly an intake, and the most important part of our work together will come from follow-up support Follow-up sessions will look like step-by-step collaboration through the co-creation of a holistic healing protocol, suited to your individual needs. It will be a safe space to share your physical and emotional challenges, as well as to celebrate your healing achievements, as well as being your time to ask any questions you may have for me

All of my sessions are conducted through Zoom, which is a video and audio conferencing software (similar to Skype). It is extremely easy to use so don't feel overwhelmed. I have found that audio-only calls are the most common preference of my clients. I know what it's like to not feel well and not want to fix up or be perceived. Seeing ourselves in the view-finder can be distracting and I want you to be able to get the most out of your sessions with me. All calls will be made audio-only by default, but can be scheduled as a video call ahead of time, if preferred

Here's how it works:

All you need is a good internet connection and either a smartphone, computer, or tablet

After booking your session, you will receive a confirmation email. That email will include a link to our virtual meeting room

At the time of our session appointment, all you have to do is open the email back up, click the link, and it will take you right to our meeting room. If you are early, you will be put in a virtual "waiting room" until I start the meeting

When you use Zoom, you need to give consent to enable your audio and/or video, so please look out for those prompts when you enter the meeting room. If you wish to continue by audio-only then only give permission for audio and disregard the video prompt

You can also connect to Zoom on your phone and use data instead of Wifi just like a phone call. You can do this by turning off your Wifi and doing a Zoom test call to be sure it connects

Everyone's needs are unique, so I can't really answer this without more information about you. Typically at least four is a good place to start to get a solid foundation and toolkit ready to move forward on your own, but I really recommend fully immersing yourself over the span of 6-8 months or more, just as a loving commitment to yourself. Your health is a lifetime investment that deserves the upmost care and consideration. However, I always keep budget in mind, use our session time thoroughly and efficiently without overwhelming you, give you lots of tools so you can be your own detective, doctor, and advocate, and ultimately, my biggest goal is to get you to a place of not needing me anymore! So if that means you only need me for a few sessions or if you prefer continued long-term care, I am here to guide you and show up for you in the way that serves you most

As a client, you will have access to a HIPAA-certified portal that allows you to communicate directly with me through a secure platform. However, I am still quite limited in what I'm able to help with outside of a session

Emailing, or any form of written communication, is not an effective mode of communication for discussing health and medical information. I want to give you the level of care and support that you deserve, and questions/concerns of this matter cannot be adequately addressed without verbal discussion

So, if you have questions that come up between sessions, I suggest that you write them down and save them for our next appointment. If it's something you feel is urgent, then you have the option to book a 30 Minute Follow-Up with me. And if you find that the standard 30 and 50 minutes options are not long enough for our follow-ups to get all of your questions answered, then you can book a 2 Hour Extended Follow-Up

There is a lot of confusing and contradictory information out there in the conventional and alternative medicine worlds that can make it really hard to know who to trust.
